Israel reports fatal Hezbollah hits in Lebanon
The Israeli army announced the killing of seven Hezbollah members who were operating near the security zone in southern Lebanon, following a ceasefire agreement between the two sides based on a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran to end the conflict in the region. Despite the ceasefire, Israel continues to target Hezbollah members inside or near the security zone, which it declared along the border area, with the aim of neutralizing threats. Hezbollah entered the regional war in March in response to an assassination incident, and Israel responded with airstrikes and ground operations that resulted in the death of more than 4,200 people, according to Lebanese authorities.
