The Libyan National Army forces were kidnapped by an armed group known as the "Southern Operations Room" in the south, where they announced that they had captured several soldiers and seized vehicles in the Wadi Al-Shati area. The local government and municipalities condemned this incident, describing it as a threat to the security and stability of the region. The tribal community also rejected the operation and reiterated the call for the release of the kidnapped soldiers. Estimates suggest that the situation requires the army to respond effectively, amid ongoing security challenges in southern Libya.
