De la Fuente warns Spain's progress is not complete
Luis de la Fuente, head coach of the Spain national team, dismissed excessive optimism after his team’s 3-0 victory over Austria in the Round of 32 at the World Cup, warning that complacency could weaken the team's performance. He emphasized that the team has not yet reached its full potential and that further improvement is necessary, especially in knockout stages that demand higher levels. He praised defender Marc Cucurella’s performance, considering him an invaluable element, and affirmed that the coming phase will be more challenging, with the team aiming to surpass expectations.
