The Gaza Management Committee announced its immediate readiness to assume its duties following the dissolution of the Hamas-led government emergency committee. The committee's chairman resigned, and administration has been transferred to the National Gaza Management Committee in order to strengthen the management of sectors and services in the territory. This step is part of the administrative transition efforts amid the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by Gaza, as well as Palestinian understandings aimed at restoring basic services and initiating reconstruction.
