French President Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Damascus for an official visit to Syria, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and discussing regional and international issues. He is accompanied by a delegation of investors and French companies. The talks include a dialogue session with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharq, to enhance economic and political cooperation between the two countries after a period of tensions.
