British band faces harsh penalty over Palestinian flag
Singapore police have banned the British band "Massive Attack" from performing concerts after two of its members raised the Palestinian flag on stage during a show. This action violated the country's laws, which prohibit raising foreign flags or slogans in public places without permission. The two members received strict warnings and are now barred from returning to Singapore. Authorities also confirmed that they will not approve any future requests for the band to hold concerts in the country. The band is known for its opposition to Israeli military operations in Gaza and its support for the Palestinian cause.
