Ongoing investigations in Egypt are revealing details about an incident involving the targeting of two ships at Damietta Port using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The Egyptian state is naturally cautious about rushing to release information before official investigation results are available. It also emphasizes that inaccurate information is sometimes circulated by foreign media outlets. Egypt has stated that investigations are still underway to determine the responsible party, and the Egyptian Ministry of Information has denied previous allegations suggesting Iran's involvement. The emphasis remains on addressing the issue based on evidence and facts. Meanwhile, the U.S. Embassy has issued a routine warning to its citizens about increasing tensions in the region, advising caution and preparedness for potential closures and intermittent air travel.
