Egypt's efforts have been focused on strengthening cooperation with the Nile Basin countries, particularly Uganda, to achieve common interests in the sustainable management of water resources. Egypt has reaffirmed its rejection of unilateral measures, such as the construction of dams by any country—especially Ethiopia—that affect its water share.
