Al-Manfi and Takala Advocate for a Unified Libya
Reports indicate that protests in western Libya prompted the Presidential Council and the Supreme Council of State to emphasize the importance of coordination to promote stability. They also stressed the need to advance the political process toward a comprehensive settlement and to complete national milestones. The recent electoral procedures of the council were praised, along with support for national dialogue efforts. There was a focus on implementing the outcomes of the agreed-upon political roadmap to ensure that presidential and parliamentary elections are held simultaneously at the appropriate time. Additionally, officials and international envoys discussed ongoing political cooperation and efforts to enhance stability, urging mosque preachers to promote moderate messages that foster national unity and steer clear of polarization.
