Israel suspends operations after Lebanese soldiers injured
An explosion occurred in the town of Kfarra in Bent Jbeil Governorate in southern Lebanon, resulting in injuries to five Lebanese soldiers. The Lebanese Army stated that the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device belonging to Hezbollah. Meanwhile, the Israeli Army confirmed that the device is not affiliated with them and is instead linked to the terrorist group Hezbollah, and that the incident took place in an area where Israeli forces are not present. This event occurs amid ongoing tensions between Lebanon and Israel, despite an agreement signed in June to transfer control of Hezbollah-held areas in southern Lebanon from the Israeli army to the Lebanese army, with exchanges of fire continuing between both sides.
