Four ships targeted in Strait of Hormuz
Four container ships in the Strait of Hormuz were attacked with unspecified projectiles, leading to one vessel sinking and another sustaining minor damage, with no injuries reported. This escalation occurs amid tensions between the United States and Iran, with Tehran accused of damaging oil tanker navigation, while American forces continue to impose sanctions on Iranian ports. Attacks on ships passing through the strait have intensified since the outbreak of the war in the Middle East.
