Israeli security sources expressed their concern over the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Iran, following its last-minute cancellation of a major military attack on Iran without prior coordination. They confirmed that the unexpected decision by the Americans threatens the operational readiness of the Israeli military and impacts intelligence and military cooperation between the two countries. Israeli officials also pointed out that the shortage of American interceptor missile stockpiles, particularly Patriot and THAAD missiles, influenced the decision to cancel the attack. There are growing fears that Washington may withdraw from confrontations, while Iran is escalating its missile capabilities and nuclear program, posing an existential threat to Israel, despite the ongoing state of alert.
