Trump details Iran talks and planned attack
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he is engaged in new negotiations with Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz and the Iranian nuclear program. He confirmed that an agreement has been reached concerning the strait and that an agreement on Iran's nuclear plan is forthcoming. He also indicated that an attack on Iran, which had been anticipated, has been canceled at the request of Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Iran itself. Trump explained that the attack was expected to be the largest since World War II. At the same time, recent developments have shown a decrease in regional tension, with Trump’s statements and dialogue preparations, amid warnings of a potential escalation in the region.
