Israeli Military Personnel Killed in Southern Lebanon
An Israeli force in Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon was exposed to a landmine explosion, resulting in the death and injury of some soldiers. The injured were transferred to hospitals. Meanwhile, Israel carried out airstrikes around Al-Mansouri village and another bombing in southern Lebanon, despite the signing of a framework agreement under American sponsorship in June aimed at a gradual Israeli withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territory and the disarmament of armed groups, including Hezbollah. A new round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel is ongoing in Rome to follow up on the implementation of this agreement amid an Israeli military escalation in the region.
