Israel conducts strikes on Lebanon and orders evacuation
Tensions are escalating in southern Lebanon as Israel issues new evacuation orders and conducts airstrikes, reflecting the fragility of the ceasefire signed in June. The Israeli army ordered residents of Al-Mansouriya village to evacuate after carrying out strikes near Tyre and around Mufraq Mijdal Zoun, in response to violations by Hezbollah. This escalation aims to deter operations carried out by the Iran-backed group, amidst talks in Rome between Lebanese and Israeli delegations seeking to solidify the terms of the agreement, while tensions remain high with the possibility of a return to military escalation in the region.
