CNN anchor interviews Imran Khan about his imprisonment
The Pakistani government confirmed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan is not prohibited from contacting his family and rejected claims that he has been barred from communication for seven months. They clarified that his last visit was on August 4, 2026, and that his two sons, Qasim and Suleiman, have the right to travel to Pakistan. This comes in the context of a plea from his sons, Qasim and Suleiman, seeking assistance to reach him, as they expressed their frustration over the cutoff of communication with him and called for the government to intervene to enable him to appear and lead once again.
