Russian Defense Strikes Two Supply Ships
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that it targeted two cargo ships carrying military supplies off the coast of Odessa, Ukraine, and these ships were destroyed as part of Russian military operations in Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry also announced that it shot down 200 Ukrainian drones in one day across several Russian regions, which some Ukrainian officials described as attempts by Kyiv to destabilize the area through terrorism. **These events indicate an escalation of Russian military operations in the region, with increasing attacks on Ukrainian military targets and attempted Ukrainian counterattacks.**
