The article discusses a plan to establish a small military base in the Gaza Strip, intended to host about 150 Moroccan soldiers as part of efforts to enhance security after the war. This follows Morocco's signing of an agreement to join the "International Stability Force" in the region. The contract for building the base—located approximately 1.6 kilometers from the Israeli border on a 100 by 120-meter area—was awarded to an American company that previously worked for the United States in Iraq. This move comes after Trump's agreement to disarm Hamas and Morocco’s promises to send officers from its forces, despite funding obstacles and delays in deployment operations. Israel opposes the steps, having not approved the American understanding phases.
