Tunisia secures feed imports amid Black Sea issues
Tunisia has announced a global tender to purchase approximately 50,000 tons of animal feed corn, aiming to strengthen feed supplies and reduce risks associated with shipment disruptions from the Black Sea region. The tender conditions allow offers from optional suppliers, with a mandatory provision to source from alternative sources if delivery from the specified origin proves impossible, especially due to the ongoing conflict in the region. The shipment is scheduled between August 20 and September 20, with the delivery date to be determined based on the grain source. This step aims to ensure the stability of corn imports and prevent delays caused by military disruptions in the Black Sea.
