The Yemeni army forces were subjected to large-scale attacks launched by the Houthis using missiles and drones, resulting in the death of at least 58 personnel and injuries to dozens more. These attacks targeted camps in the Marib and Hadramout governorates. The assaults targeted bases in the areas of Al-Ruwaik, Al-'Abir, and Al-Wadi'ah, coinciding with the Houthis announcing their responsibility for targeting "mobilizations" supported by Saudi Arabia. This marks a significant escalation in the ongoing war in Yemen, which has become intertwined with the regional conflict between the United States and Iran. These attacks are among the fiercest in recent years and undermine efforts toward de-escalation amid rising military tensions.
