A plane belonging to Air India experienced an emergency descent during its flight from Phuket, Thailand, to Delhi due to severe turbulence, which resulted in injuries to several passengers. The sudden descent, which was approximately 300 feet, was caused by strong air currents encountered during the flight. However, the aircraft landed safely, and the injured were taken to hospitals. The airline and aviation authorities confirmed that all passengers and crew members disembarked safely and that the incident was caused by weather disturbances, prompting medical teams to be on alert before the plane arrived at Delhi Airport.
