Robot Waiter in Turkey Demands Workers' Rights
A robot butler named "Vico" in Ankara has started demanding its labor rights, such as a salary increase and extending its weekly day off from one day to two. Although it receives regular pay and a weekly rest day, it expresses discontent by repeatedly requesting a raise and sometimes threatening to stop performing some of its duties. "Vico" helps attract customers, especially families and children, by interacting and dancing with them, all the while being reminded of its labor demands as if it were a human employee seeking better working conditions.
