Netanyahu: Israel has not approved international forces entering Gaza
Israel has confirmed that the entry of the international stability force into the Gaza Strip has not yet been approved, and that the reconstruction of the area will not begin until Hamas is fully disarmed. These statements come amidst reports of foreign military officers conducting an exploratory tour in Rafah, a move understood to be related to discussions with Israel regarding the deployment of troops. However, Israel adds that security arrangements and humanitarian recovery are primarily tied to the disarmament of Hamas, which faces setbacks due to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's insistence on not withdrawing from Gaza before that occurs. Additionally, the Trump administration continues to allocate over $206 million to support the stability force, but its deployment remains on hold, linked to the achievement of the primary security goal.
