The article focused on the transformation of Turkey's and Israel's military and regional presence in Syria following the fall of Bashar Assad's regime. It explained that Turkey affirms its presence in northern Syria across an area estimated at 8,835 square kilometers, controlling regions such as Idlib, Afrin, Azaz, Al-Bab, Jarabulus, and the surrounding countryside of Aleppo, while supporting the Syrian National Army. The text also points to Turkey’s attempts to cooperate with Damascus to establish joint defense arrangements, including the potential use of Syrian airbases, alongside Israel’s targeted strikes against the Abu al-Zohour airport in Idlib. On another front, Israel has expanded its military deployment in southern Syria, especially in Quneitra and Daraa, controlling approximately 1,800 square kilometers of occupied territory by taking over parts of the Golan Heights and adjacent areas, while carrying out electronic operations and establishing military outposts. The article clarifies that both sides are seeking to strengthen their influence in Syria through different strategies, reflecting an escalation in regional tensions there.
