Investigations clarify that the circulated video claiming that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned Benjamin Netanyahu of an Israeli plan to ignite a conflict between the Gulf and Iran is fabricated and false. The original source of the video shows a genuine speech by Modi on the occasion of India's Independence Day, but it has been edited and an Arabic translation added that was not present in the original speech. The purpose of this modification appears to be to exploit it on social media to promote unverified theories about regional alliances and conflicts. The authentic speech by Modi focused on domestic development and national development plans, not on any warnings about Iranian or Israeli plans.
