The "Cozefeld List" scandal in Germany has expanded, involving 471 migrants who are required to leave the country, following the revelation of thousands of criminal cases linked to them, including serious offenses such as theft, rape, and assault. Judicial reviews indicate that approximately 12,000 criminal cases are associated with individuals on the list, with 2,100 of them currently under investigation or having been investigated in the past. Despite this, deportation efforts face significant obstacles, as only five individuals have been deported so far. These difficulties are attributed to political and legal hurdles, including potential obstruction by Cologne authorities, who are currently reviewing the cases of about 160 people to determine their legal status.
