Lincoln Team's Remarkable Journey from Iran to Thailand
The American aircraft carrier "USS Abraham Lincoln" has arrived at Pattaya Port in Thailand after an extended deployment lasting 286 days, including 264 consecutive days at sea, during which it supported American military operations against Iran. The visit comes as a pause following a long voyage that began in November 2025, during which it participated in supporting operations in the South China Sea and the Middle East. Reports about deteriorating mental health and supply shortages on board have sparked concern, but the Navy downplayed the significance of these reports. The carrier is expected to remain until Sunday, and the visit is expected to boost the local economy, with the crew likely to spend the equivalent of 2.6 million euros.
