Israel plans escalation in Lebanon
An Israeli operation in the Ali Al-Tahir Heights in southern Lebanon resulted in the elimination of all Hezbollah elements inside an underground complex that was destroyed. The complex was used by the party to build a strategic infrastructure, backed by Iran, aimed at conducting military operations and launching attacks against Israel. The operation comes within the context of Israel's preparations for a potential confrontation, amid warnings of Iranian intervention should the operations continue. It is considered one of Israel's most prominent attempts to weaken Hezbollah's capabilities and secure its northern borders.
