Zelensky links Russia to airport bombings before Vitkoff and Kushner visit
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia bombed airports in Kyiv and Boryspil before the arrival of former Trump administration envoys, Steve Wittekov and Jared Kushner, to Ukraine, as the United States prepares to assist in peace efforts. He explained that the Russian strikes were in response to discussions about the possible air travel of the envoys to Kyiv, given that Ukraine's airspace has been closed since the start of the war. Zelensky called for Russia to respect a ceasefire to ensure the success of the negotiations.
