The article discussed the developments in the Lebanese-Israeli negotiation process concerning the hills and the issue of Lebanese prisoners. It reported that Hezbollah evacuated the "Ali Tahr" hills under Iranian guidance, despite advice to hand them over to the Lebanese Army to strengthen the negotiating team's position. Sources indicated that this move is part of a broader redeployment of fighters rather than their withdrawal from the north, emphasizing that evacuating the hills does not threaten Hezbollah's weapons but is instead aimed at justifying their continued presence under the pretext of countering Israel. The report also highlighted Hezbollah's refusal to respond to pressure to hand over the hills to the Lebanese Army, linking this stance to security policies and political goals. Additionally, negotiations are ongoing regarding the release of prisoners and Lebanese war remains. Some developments involved exchanging prisoners for the identification of the locations where Lebanese Jews detained by Hezbollah are buried, amid heightened Israeli escalation and ongoing negotiations or responses to this issue.
