Palestinian-American citizen Samad Khadir was transported to the hospital after being assaulted by settlers near Ramallah. They attacked him with stones and sticks, threatened him with a weapon, stole his American passport, and vandalized his car and belongings. Khadir explained that a soldier from the occupation spit on his passport and confiscated it. Meanwhile, the Committee Against the Wall and Settlements confirmed that settlers carried out 628 attacks in August alone, compared to 1,402 attacks by the Israeli army. These incidents came after an attempt by settlers to kill Khadir and his two brothers while they were en route to offer condolences to the families of the martyrs in their hometown.
