Civilian woman dead in Israel strikes
A civilian woman was killed and five other people injured in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon. The strikes targeted homes and residential buildings in various areas, including the towns of Miefdon and Alkfour. The attacks resulted in the destruction of many homes and the destruction of the former MP Habib Sadiq’s house, which included a library and an art hall, in addition to injuring civilians. The Israeli army continued systematic demolition operations on the outskirts of the Al-Mansouri town and its surroundings, using barrel bombs. Since the beginning of the aggression in March, the escalation has caused the death of four people and injured over 23 others. The total toll since then has reached 4,358 deaths and 12,359 injuries. Despite ongoing negotiations between the sides regarding security arrangements, tensions along the Lebanese-Israeli border continue to rise.
