Iranian Guard claims U.S. ship attacks
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that its aerospace forces targeted two ships belonging to the U.S. military with ballistic missiles after they harassed Iranian vessels and participated in the maritime blockade of the country. The attacks resulted in damage to the ships, which then fled the area, with Iran warning of massive retaliations if American hostile actions continue. Additionally, the Iranian Navy confirmed that it targeted three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and three vessels linked to the United States in response to previous American attacks on Iranian tankers.
