Iran reportedly tested a surface-to-ship missile against an American warship for the first time over a destroyer 24 hours ago, sparking panic among Americans and prompting the U.S. Central Command to destroy three Iranian oil tankers in response to Iranian Revolutionary Guard attacks on American vessels. Iranian officials confirmed that the test reflects Iran’s escalation in the Strait of Hormuz and highlights its challenge to American provocations. Meanwhile, the Revolutionary Guard claimed to have targeted an American aircraft carrier and a destroyer belonging to the U.S. military, stating that both ships fled after suffering damage. Iran also attacked an American drone that was about to enter the protected area in the strait. Tensions between the two sides continue to rise amid ongoing military escalation in the region.
