Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the evacuation of approximately 100 illegal settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank, in response to American pressure to strengthen land control and stop settler attacks on Palestinians. The date for implementation has not yet been specified. This step is part of Israel's efforts to dismantle outposts established without government approval, which are considered illegal under international law, although some had previously received official support from Israel. Incidents of violence by settlers against Palestinians are increasing, while Washington has condemned these acts of violence and called for those responsible to be held accountable.
