Israel has intensified its airstrikes and shelling in southern Lebanon, coinciding with the announcement of a plan to withdraw from most of the occupied Lebanese territories and to remain along a gray line ranging between two and four kilometers from the border. Additionally, Israel violated the ceasefire agreement signed in June, as it resumed evacuation warnings and bombed vital facilities in Nabatieh, resulting in the death of four people. Lebanon condemned this action and officials described it as a serious escalation. Militarily, the Israeli army is working on reducing its forces and moving towards redeployment within a new security zone close to the border.
