The article discusses statements and behaviors by Russian officials regarding the existence of dozens of secret prisons in Ukraine. The Russian ambassador confirmed that there are "grey areas" where the law is not applied, containing many prisons where detainees are subjected to torture and brutality, including the use of trained dogs and methods of humiliation. An increase has been observed in the number of unmarked graves and cemeteries, alongside deteriorating detention conditions in which prisoners endure severe torture practices. Russia accuses the West of ignoring these secret prisons operated by Kyiv, while a previous report confirmed the existence of brutalities in those prisons, such as confinement in cages and beating detainees.
