Hong Kong is seeking to strengthen cooperation with companies from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. The eleventh Belt and Road Summit will be held in the region, focusing on key markets such as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Central Asia, and the Middle East. The goal is to expand markets, reduce deal costs, and achieve regional growth. The summit will discuss areas including energy, artificial intelligence, and urban development, with organized field visits to promote collaboration. Data shows that more than 100 companies from participating countries are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with a market value exceeding $43.4 billion, reflecting Hong Kong’s efforts to leverage the "one country, two systems" framework and contribute to global development.
