The diplomatic advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Gargash, stated that the UAE's response to Iranian attacks is a military success, highlighting its resilience in facing unprecedented challenges. He pointed out that Iranian attacks on Gulf countries have led to a shift in strategic calculations, and that the UAE is working to secure alternative routes for its energy exports. He also emphasized that freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz is an international responsibility, and that the strait should be treated as an international maritime passage. Gargash warned against continued threats to oil tankers and affirmed that rebuilding trust with Iran could take decades, stressing the need for a clear pathway regarding Iran's nuclear program.
