The Turkish Ministry of Defense clarified that the attacks carried out by the Houthis in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb Strait, along with the missile and drone strikes targeting Saudi Arabia, increase regional instability and harm maritime security and international trade. The ministry stressed that Houthi escalation threatens regional stability and negatively impacts maritime trade movement, noting Saudi Arabia's interception and destruction of a drone south of Mecca. Turkey also condemned the Israeli escalation in Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, and called on the international community to take deterrent measures against Israel’s violations of international law. The Ministry emphasized the importance of regional stability and achieving peace through a comprehensive political solution that guarantees the security of all parties.
