Gaza Holds Funeral for 105 Victims
On October 25, 2023, Israeli occupation forces bombed the Taq Tower and its surroundings in Gaza, resulting in the deaths and complete destruction of entire neighborhoods belonging to more than 15 families. The assault demolished the residential quadrant entirely, which housed over 500 civilians at the time of the attack. The bombing was carried out using 20 heavy bombs of the type (GBU-31), leading to the toppling and subsequent extraction of the remains of 105 martyrs from beneath the rubble after more than three years of siege and destruction. The bodies were laid to rest in a collective funeral attended by the victims' families, while the remains of more than 100 unidentified individuals remain trapped under the debris.
