Iran linked to Fly Dubai incident Trump reacts
A "Fly Dubai" flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv experienced a security incident when a pilot believed to be of Omani nationality attacked a crew member, stabbing him and attempting to disable the aircraft's systems, which led to an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that the attacker may have ties to Iran, while confirming that investigations are ongoing. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the attacker as someone who received instructions from an extremist Islamist ideology and possibly was influenced by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, amid doubts about his motives.
