Global rallies mark Al-Aqsa flood anniversary
Cities around the world, from New York to Tokyo, witnessed protests and solidarity rallies with the Palestinian people, coinciding with the third anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023. The events focused on calling for an end to the war on the Gaza Strip and rejecting the ongoing Israeli occupation. Demonstrators participated in various forms, including raising Palestinian flags, chanting anti-occupation slogans, and engaging in symbolic activities such as illuminating prominent landmarks with images of the Palestinian flag. These actions resulted in widespread condemnation of the occupation's violations and increased support for Palestine, amid ongoing calls to cease military operations and find a permanent solution to the crisis.
