Trump clarifies Iran city destruction remarks
U.S. President Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Texas about the possibility of an Iranian attack on American cities such as Los Angeles and San Diego, which sparked widespread criticism from California officials and organizers. Trump reaffirmed that he would not allow such an event to happen and emphasized his commitment to protecting the cities and the country. Meanwhile, local authorities considered his remarks a threat to public safety, and a White House official stated that his comments indicated Iran had previously threatened these cities if its nuclear program was not halted.
