London Keeps Jerusalem Consulate Open
The British government has confirmed that its consulate in Jerusalem will not be closed, but will be referred to as the "United Kingdom Mission" and will continue to provide its services, with a temporary withdrawal of staff to ensure their safety. Meanwhile, Israel announced that the consulate will cease all activities completely and operate with limited capacities, following Saar's demand to close it in response to Britain's sanctions against illegal Israeli settlements.
