Settler Attacks Cause Injuries During Palestinian Protests
Under the title "Injuries in attacks by settlers on areas in the West Bank amid Palestinian condemnation," reports indicated that a number of Palestinians were injured during attacks carried out by Israeli settlers on villages and towns in the West Bank. The assaults included beatings, the throwing of tear gas canisters, and injuries caused by live and rubber bullets. Israeli forces also besieged a house and launched tear gas at a family in the village of al-Mughair. Since October 2023, these attacks have resulted in the death of 66 Palestinians. The escalation has been accompanied by Palestinian international efforts to seek UN intervention, amid widespread Palestinian condemnation and the absence of any official Israeli comment on the ongoing escalation.
