Israeli Official: Hamas Plans New Attacks
An Israeli report focused on Hamas's readiness to carry out new attacks against Israeli forces amid rising tensions between its leadership abroad and inside the Gaza Strip. Intelligence agencies confirmed they have detected intentions to launch attacks against areas that separate Israeli control from Gaza, as well as confrontations with Palestinian clans clashing with the movement. The report indicated that Hamas faces challenges in rebuilding its military capabilities due to ongoing Israeli operations and internal opposition. Its leaders have been subject to arrests, Israeli intelligence gathering has improved, and there is a limited possibility of a large-scale confrontation occurring before the Israeli elections scheduled for October 27.
