Statements from Egypt and allies after Riyadh attacks
The attack on King Khalid Airport in Riyadh continues the series of assaults carried out by the Houthis against the Kingdom, resulting in civilian casualties and injuries, as well as the destruction of some infrastructure. Saudi Arabia reported multiple injuries, while the air defenses intercepted a cruise missile near the airport. Both Russia and Egypt condemned the attacks and called for refraining from targeting civilian sites, holding the Houthis fully responsible for the military escalation and its impact on regional stability. Authorities are completing damage assessments and working to strengthen security measures to prevent future attacks.
