Sarah Netanyahu's Role in Governance Talks
Israeli director Oded Karmeli revealed that Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, intervened in the government formation negotiations following the 2013 elections. She expressed a firm stance against certain politicians such as Naftali Bennett, Yair Lapid, and Shaul Mofaz. He also noted that his meeting with her coincided with his work on a documentary about her father, Shmuel Ben Artzi, and that she expressed a desire to make a film about her father, from an aristocratic background. He added that what he shared is based on what he observed and heard during their meetings, although the film itself has not been shown.
