Syrian Revolution and Qassam Tunnels
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, showcased a clip documenting the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood, featuring the Syrian revolution flag inside one of Rafah’s tunnels. This serves as a symbolic gesture expressing solidarity between the Palestinian and Syrian peoples and strengthening the unity of their cause. The video reveals how the flag was smuggled out from the darkness of the tunnels and under siege, symbolizing the sacrifices of the free and embodying hope for freedom and liberation. It underscores the unity of struggle against oppression. This image sends a message reflecting the resilience of the peoples and their desire to resist occupation, while also increasingly resonating with its symbolic implications of pan-Arab resistance and solidarity.
